I downloaded windows 10 about 3 months ago, I actually liked it.  But, today I wanted to be able to watch some .mkv files so I thought I would download windows media player.  I went to the Play Store signed into my microsoft account and downloaded media player, went through some iterations of again giving my password, they told me they are going to use this password for windows; hey no problem.  I did not get the connection until my computer went to sleep and my normal one-handed 4 digit computer log-in is now my microsoft account login, 8 digits and a two handed operation, WTF.  Now I'm being forced to use my computer the way microsoft wants me to use it, If I want to live dangerously its my business. This just seems like such corporate bull.  Is there any way to go back to my old ways?

Thanks for any help
