Heya.

So I wanted to take a look at a game in a free pile at a game store, but it is made to run in Windows 98/ME/XP. I have Windows 10.

Any suggestions?

I think you would have to establish a third party VM, virtual machine, and then get a legal copy of Windows XP to install into said virtual machine.  Others here can much better advise you of the steps involved.

Good news! According to Amazon users that game runs on Windows 7 fine. One user reported it ran fine on Windows 10. Of course, your experience may vary, but considering people's reviews, it is worth a try.
