I recently received a Samsung Galaxy Centura android smartphone. I want to add a memory card to it. It will only recognize up to 32Gb though. There is no card currently in the phone.

I figure that since the card will be in there pretty much for the life of the phone, I'd like to get the best features/speed available.

Would a Samsung EVO Plus Class 10 SDHC be the best available? Or is there a feature it might not have.

Thanks

I don't understand what features your looking for in a memory card, however if you look here,

they do a good report on the Samsung evo.

Thanks. I've since found the info I needed.

Sticking with the Samsung line I found:

The Pro+ is the best and cost more, although for a 32gb card the difference in cost wasn't that much.

The one I settled upon was the Samsung Evo+. It's slower than the Pro+ but I decided my uses weren't going to need the extra speed the Pro+ offered.

I wasn't looking for any specific features, I just didn't want to miss out on some great new card technology by being too price conscious. It turns out the Evo+ has pretty much everything new. It's just not as super duper fast as the Pro+, which seems to be the top card as far as features go.

I guess the only thing I need to do is confirm that the card isn't a fake.

Keep in mind that the phone has to support whatever tech too in order for the tech to be effective...

I personally prefer Crucial/Micron for memory as I have noticed certain... err... reliability issues I have had with virtually every Samsung product I have owned.

Maybe I just have bad luck with them, but I don't want to risk it.
