My computer has had a ton of adware on it. I used ad-aware and spybot to clean what I could. Here is my HJT log and my panda activescan results.

Please help me to clean up my computer to improve its performance.

  • Select the "Scanner" icon at the top and then the "Scan" tab then click on "Complete System Scan".
  • Ewido will now begin the scanning process, be patient this may take a little time.
Once the scan is complete do the following:
  • If you have any infections you will prompted, then select "Apply all actions"
  • Next select the "Reports" icon at the top.
  • Select the "Save report as" button in the lower left hand of the screen and save it to a text file on your system (make sure to remember where you saved that file, this is important).
  • Close Ewido and reboot your system back into Normal Mode and post the results of the Ewido scan report along with a new Hijackthis log.

I'd like to close this post. We decided to download a program that has known adware, but we don't want to uninstall it. Thanks for your help though!

There's no problem with that. There are some good programs that are ad sponsored. It's just that most of them are sneaky about it. If you know that the program is ad sponsored and it's up front about it, and as long as you are aware of the affect it will have on your computer, then go ahead and use the program.

I'll close this thread per your request.
