So when everytime i scan my external HDD this appears in the log

G:\$RECYCLE.BIN\desktop.ini - error on opening   (error on opening may not be the actual message , bcs i've translated it from my laguage , but you get the point)

How do i know if this is the infamous desktop.ini virus and how do i remove it if that's the case ?

Thanks in advance.

(Using NOD 32 BTW)

Did you recently make any changes in Folder Options?  Like remove the check in the Hide protected operating system files box.
