Hello,

I bought my new HP laptop about 4 months ago and It was really working fine and smooth since I downloaded a Photoshop font pack which ended up as a trojan, then ads started flooding into my desktop and browser after some time i managed to remove the virus but the problem is that whenever i watch YouTube videos the sound starts crackling and the video lags, even my cursor moves by itself sometimes everything just works fine usually when i just booted up but then when i play videos on browser the problem starts again

my brother uses this laptop too so he has a local user account. when he watches youtube videos he doesn't get the video lag but he gets a slight sound crackling, I've created another user it has the same problem

tried changing antivirus from mcafee to bitdefender 2016 paid for nothing, tried malwarebytes nothing either, trojanremover not working

i tried searching for fixes some people said it's from the audio driver cause it isn't up to date i updated it same problem video driver tried updating it still not working

the most thing that annoys me more than the problem itself is that i just bought the computer recently, please help................

There could be some remnant items.

Run an online scan with Eset (easiest with Internet Explorer): http://www.eset.com/onlinescan/
To shorten the scanning time disable your antivirus program while scanning.

Select Enable detection of potentially unwanted applications.
Click Advanced Settings.

Select:
Scan Archives
Scan for potentially unsafe applications
Enable Anti-Stealth Technology

Click Start.

When the scan is finished, click on List of found threats and then Export to text file. Copy the content of the text file and paste its content in your reply.

This may take awhile, run it when you know you will not need the computer for an hour or two.
