No!
BC is against driver booster programs. They will not help. They are dubious. Just download the correct drivers from the manufacturer's website.

Captain_Chicken should be able to help you because there are drivers available.  But this is an old computer to be running Windows 7 on so if things don't work out you could put a Linux OS on there and it should run well.  If you change your mind just post some questions over here.

And give this a read first.

As far as I can see from the Model information provided HP is not supporting this model past Vista, & the Vista driver is SP36530 which can be found here http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?sp4ts.oid=402169&swItemId=vc_53028_1&swEnvOid=2096#tab2 - this may work in Windows 7

You tried what suggestions, the driver booster?

If you want help you should have answered this question below from a bc Advisor.

There are drivers for Windows 7 but they might not work on that old pc I don't know, but captianchicken might know if you answer his question about your pc.  This is why I suggested Linux, you'll likely run into issues running W7 in that old thing but linux should be pretty fast.

Unfortunately that might be your best bet, except for the bad things that can happen with XP.  This might be a good time to try Linux out, before you have to.  If your HDD is large enough you can dual boot and have the best of both worlds, if you can't do something in Linux then you still have XP.  You can simply burn the Linux iso Image to a DVD or USB and run it Live on your system without disturbing the HDD/XP.  If you are intersted in a Linux Testdrive then just post at the linux page for help, otherwise enjoy XP!
