Ok have a logitech c 170 web cam and its driving me crazy no matter what i do nothing works.

Using win 7.0 with 64 bit a a 2.0 and 3.0 usb port.

I have software from logitech and have used that since it doesn t auto install.

I place it in the usb 2.0 slut and everything seems find but then i get " Device not reconized " but all 3 usb ports work for my ext HD  and the printer etc . .

Tryed all 3 ports ; its says installed and working  it comes on the cam for 10 / 15 seconds looks great then get that annoying beep beep install / un install beep beep soon then device not reconized; i have noticed that the sys tries to re install the asus cam but not using that now trying to use logitech !

So un installed all asus folders and files but the asus cam software keeps coming back to bite me ; so what now ! ?

So what now so need some help fingers crossed for a fix  -   Thanks a bunch .  .

Have you contacted Logitech support for known hardware issues? http://support.logitech.com/en_us/product/webcam-c170
