Red lines on screen

When I start up my computer red lines appear on my screen. I don't know what to do.

That not very much to go on.

 

What is the make and model of this computer?

 

What operating system are you running?

 

Have you booted into Safe Mode to see if the problem persists?

 

Safe Mode uses a limited amount of drivers and applications.  It uses a Windows graphics drivers, not the drivers install for which ever graphics device you use.  If the problem is a driver problem the problem with the red lines should not appear in Safe Mode.

 

Then again, if this the display of a laptop it could be a problem with the display.  Hence the need to know what we are dealing with here.

 

If you can, please do the following.

 

Please download and install Speccy to provide us with information about your computer.  Clicking on this link will automatically initiate the download. 
 
When Speccy opens you will see a screen similar to the one below.

Click on File which is outlined in red in the screen above, and then click on Publish Snapshot.
 
The following screen will appear, click on Yes.

The following screen will appear, click on Copy to Clipboard.

In your next post right click inside the Reply to Topic box, then click on Paste.  This will load a link to the Speccy log.
