I had some issues with my laptop a couple months ago. Once I ran a few scans with Malwarebytes it found ransomware and removed it before it could lockdown my files.

Since then, my laptop keyboard is disabled on the g,h, apostrophe, and backspace keys.  I know it isn't the keyboard itself for strangely enough when I sent an email using outlook live all the keys worked. right now I'm using both the onscreen keyboard and laptop keyboard to type this. I've tried virtually everything. Disabled/reenabled, scanned in safe mode etc. but no fix.

Any suggestions? Everything else seems fine.

Do the keys work in safe mode? If they do, I would look for a filter driver in the registry, or scan with more tools such as MalwareBytes and HitmanPro. If not, it might be a coincidence and actually be hardware.
