Cortona is using alot of memory in the backround

How can i diable cortona or uninstall it it is sucking alot of memory when i look in the task manager processes i don,t even use this i thought i disabled it but it still seems to be running.any help would be great.

 To turn Cortana off look just above and to the left of the search window (just on top of the Start button).  You'll see a circular icon there.  Click on it, and you'll get the usual "are you sure" messages to turn it off.  That's always the very first thing I do when I do a new Windows 10 install.

For me, Cortana fluctuates between 0.0% and 0.1%. Not too bad for my system. That is with the search window closed, so it still takes some resources even if you hide it.

Mine is using 28 to 30 mbs in the backround with it being disabled.crazy idk what else to do it,s chewing up alot of memory for me.

Are you about those numbers? 28-30 mb's isn't that much memory at all. But the task manager doesn't show it on mb..
