for the past month or so, my computer just randomly crashes. there is no blue screen, no error messages, nothing. it started when a game i play, path of exile, released new content, which was the 3rd of last month. i always used to play poe with a google chrome window open, while a casino game was auto spinning the slots. i never had a problem doing this before, as a matter of fact, i used to have multiple windows open with random stuff going on.

a week ago i switched out my processor, had a spare. with the second processor, the problem still persist. both processors are 5 years old. i stress tested the graphics card, passed with flying colors. i tried to stress test the second processor, almost immediately my pc crashed. switched from windows 10 back to 7, i like 7, and switched from google chrome to opera, still getting crashes.

if there is more info i can provide to help diagnose this problem, just let me know, i will include it. i would like to know what is wrong so i can fix the correct thing, not just keep replacing stuff till i get it right, cannot afford that headache right now, i am on a budget. please help if you can, and thanks much.

There's really not much info here. Best I can recommend is that you trace back to when this started happening and uninstall any programs/updates that happened during this time.

If you have the original processor, put it back in.  This does sound heat related however and it possible the thermal paste didn't get applied properly when you switched to the other chip.  Go back to before it started failing.
