Hello all. I have Windows 98 SE. After bootup and Windows loads, my C drive pops up automatically, rather than leaving me at my desktop appearance after bootup. It has never done this before. During Run, Msconfig, the only things I have checked is Norton's and basic components that I always use. I also used Ad-Aware and file checker and cannot seem to find a solution. Any help appreciated.
Thanks, Tom.

Check the win.ini file.
This issue can occur if there is a space following the equal sign in the load= or run= lines.
In the beginning there was the command line.

Thank you Eyesee. I did check both of those and the equal signs are ok and no space.
Thanks again, Tom.
