Hello Bleeping Computer Family,

I'm having problem with my laptop screen. The screen likes to blink for a certain time and sometimes it will turn to black. I have to knock the screen for several times to make it work again. Is there anything I can do about it?

My laptop details : Fujitsu Lifebook L Series. Model LH531

Thank you.

Not to be flippant... but if there is screen knocking going on, this sounds like a screen replacement is due (if not now sometime in the near future...lol). :smash:

Can an external monitor/TV be plugged in to the PC? Just to rule out GPU or driver faults?

If hitting the screen brings it back to life it's probably the backlight for the LCD. You can get a new lcd online for less them $50.00. When the screen goes black point a flashlight at the screen you should be able to see the image (it won't be very clear or bright).
