I am trying to learn about gaming computers but there is so much info to learn. My son is a big minecraft player and we are looking at purchasing this used custom computer...

Motherboard is Foxconn A78ax AMD 3
Power supply is Corsair 430 CX modular supply
8 GB RAM
CPU is AMD Phenom 6 core 2.6Ghz with autotune overclocking to 3100 MHZ
MSI GeForce GT610 2GB video card
Not sure what the DVD burner is in it
Sandisk 128 GB solid state drive
Western Digital 500 GB hard drive

$500.00 CDN Will this system be good to run minecraft without issues? And is it a good deal?

Thank you for your time.

Hi Tanyaj77 :)

Minecraft doesn't need a lot to run. Here are the recommend specs for it.

The computer you listed will be able to run Minecraft without any issues. And yes, for $500 it's a good deal since it have a SSD in it as well.
