Greetings :welcome:

I am retired US Navy (22yrs) Vietnam Veteran, and retired Computer & IT Technician.

I started using computers in the late 1960s while in the Navy.

My very first home computer was the 'amazing' TRS80 (aka 'Trash 80') from Radio Shack (Tandy):

  • 'Wopping' 64k RAM
  • 80x25 mono monitor (no graphics)
  • 2 8" 180kb Floppy Disk Drives (real floppies, no hard drive)
  • 1200 baud Modem!
  • Cassette Player to load system

I have, of course graduate over the years to my Win7 Pro 64bit 'super rig' (see profile).

While in the Navy, I wrote DBase IV software that was use by several squadrons where I was stationed.

For decades now I have helped other computer users and custom built rigs.

Happy  to be here.
