Have you done a simple re-strart yet? Sometimes that fixes a lot of problems. Also, if the re-start does not fix it how about a reset back to a couple of days ago.

Are these wireless devices? I really recommend a reset, but you might need to borrow somebody's keyboard in order to do that.

Exactly what did you repair in Windows 10? How did you repair it? I have had Windows 10 for well over a year and I have installed it on over a dozen computers and have never repaired it. This sounds like the problem. Do you have access to the original ISO? That might be your best bet.

Can you access the HP startup menu by tapping Esc at boot? When you enter UEFI/BIOS by pressing F10 does the mouse work?

Wouldn't he need a keyboard to press F10?

Sometimes keyboards/mice work in bios or on start but stop working after windows loads different drivers for them. I'm guessing he wants to see if they work at all or not.

That is correct. I wanted to determine if a Windows problem. A keyboard and mouse can work in UEFI without entering Windows. If this is only a Windows 10 problem the OP should be able to enter UEFI.

I think the OP downgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 7 to solve the problem.
