A friend referred me to MP3 Rocket, but I am having issues installing it. After installation completes and I run the software I get a java error stating "Unable to access jarfile lib\MP3Rocket.jar

I have uninstalled java from the Windows program uninstaller and have even uninstalled and then reinstalled MP3 Rocket, but still get the error. Does anyone know of a fix for this issue?

Thank you for this information. When I had Windows 7 I used Rocket all the time. It heavily relies on Java so I always made sure it was up to date. After a major crash I went ahead and did a clean install of Windows 10. Some of my applications were quite buggy so I am installing them one at a time to see what problems crop up. I was just today looking at MP3Rocket and wondering what kinds of problems I may run into installing it on Windows 10. Any more info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Installed the latest Java Runtime and then installed MP3 Rocket and everything is working fine. I had forgotten how vast a selection and fast operation this program offers.

Word of warning. Download MP3 Rocket ONLY from its' web site. I clicked on a couple of other download sites and one, especially, had all kinds of bloatware, malware and viruses. Little old Malwarebytes free edition caught it first and deleted it from my computer. I thought maybe it was just some glitch with Malwarebytes so I turned it off and my virus program picked it up right away. It gave me a list of all the identifiable bad stuff and there was a lot. Went to MP3Rocket.com and downloaded it there and it installed with no problems, no bloat ware or any dangerous stuff. I wish people would get a life.
