We have a HP laptop model 15-1009wm that is operating Windows 8. It has had hard drive issue because on start up it will give the options for F2 System Diagnostics or Enter to Continue Startup. The computer worked fine when you hit enter, it gave no problems. Yesterday, it did an automatic windows update with 99 things to update. Now it is hung up on the could not complete updates, undoing changes.

How do I stop this loop?

Does this computer have the Windows 8.1 update?

Open the Search charm, click/tap on PC Settings, then Update and recovery, then View you update history.

Find the failed update error code and post it in your topic.
