So i just clean installed my Windows 10 and noticed that my games run really slow. So I tried everything to make my PC work the way it did before.

My PC: http://shop.lenovo.com/gb/en/laptops/lenovo/y-series/y510p/#tab-tech_specs

So here is what i want to know:

1.) What proccesor should i put in the "physx" configuration in Nvidia, GPU  or CPU?

2.) I have 8GB of RAM but when i go to see the allocated on  virtual memory (paging file size) i only have 1920MB

and the recommended is 1913. I feel something is off here.

Look at the picture (sorry but i dont have my OS in English..).

If you know something else that would make my PC work better please let me know :)

Please excuse me, but my translations may not be exact.

If not, please blame it on the Google translator (that way I will remain blameless :0)

You have 8 gB of physical memory (RAM).

This does not relate to virtual memory in any direct way.

It appears that the system is set to allow Windows to manage the virtual memory, so the size of the virtual memory will vary as Windows adjusts it.

In short, Windows uses the CPU, the RAM, and the hard drive to manage memory.

It stores the information from memory into different places depending on what's needed at the time.

To do this, it uses virtual memory.
The Windows Memory Manager maintains a list of where each thing is in memory - so it can be called up and swapped around as needed by the operating system and the programs.

That's also why the pagefile is also known as a swapfile :0)

I would suggest posting over in the Gaming forums for more expert suggestions on how to manage this system when gaming.

Here's a link to them:  http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/f/20/computer-gaming/

My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
