I have a friend who has this laptop  HP ENVY x360 - 15-w102nq and would like to know if anyone knows if an intel wifi-AC 7260 would work with this.  There are intel drivers for this computer but they don't specify which ones.  The laptop currently has Realtek RTL8723BE 802.11b/g/n 1x1 Wi-Fi + BT4.0 Combo Adapter.  I just want to know if the intel dual band wireless-AC 7260 will work with this model.

Thank you,

it's may be possible but I doubt it if the card is not from HP. HP has a policy of whitelisting only HP Wifi cards in BIOS. If you try installing a Wifi card that is not on the whitelist the computer will not boot. You will you need to contact HP.
