While working with my bios changeing boot order I came across a bios option f2 at inital boot that basically stress tests all the HP hardware installed in my PC.

Seemed to be a pretty comprehensive test it took over 12 hrs to run all the components tests in the automatic test.

Temps seemed to stay in the normal ranges according to speecy tests.

I brought this up because I was having problems getting some of the third party tools to work on my computer.

If HP has built in tools designed to work with it's hardware maybe some of the others do also.

Might be worth a look see.

Most of your Hard drive; cpu; video cards have some generic testing tools.  Like seagate has a tool that will work on several other makes of hard drive as well as its own.  Useually you have to go online and look for them one at a time.  Hp put them all in one place no need to look other places.

That does not answer my question.

What are the tools?
