To use as "throwaway" emails. When one is needed for registering at a site, or when one is needed and you are unsure of what the email will be used for. That way you can abandon the email addy and move on to another. This is only one of probably several reasons one would have multiple gmail/hotmail/etc. addy's.

I have three e-mails...

One for general stuff with my friends, one for all my finances/ebay kind of stuff and another one where all the junk e-mail goes from registering in sites (exept the sites I trust like this one )

There are, I think, only two methods of getting a G-mail account. One is by cellphone, the other is by invitation from someone who already has a G-mail account. Because of the ever-expanding storage space they provide, as well as POP E-mail functionality, for free, a G-mail account is wanted by many people.

Professional, and all others...

Pm me or any/all that have offered the invites.
We need an email addy to send the invite to you.

One might choose to have several gmail addies for the reasons noted above.
