bios wont keep time

im trying to locate where on the motherboard my bios battery is located. ive searched many searches, downloaded the service manual, all to have no information about it. was wondering if someone here may know. its a lenovo G 570 laptop. all replies welcome. :)

Actually, that is the CMOS battery and it is on the top of the board. It is a watch battery you will need to replace.

i took my laptop apart, it has the battery in your second attachment. it has no markings. do you have an idea on the voltage?

It's a 3V rechargable. See this item on Ebay. Same image as what kaljukass posted.

 

Edit: The above link was an example. There are cheaper alternatives on Ebay.
