hi to all,

i am looking to buy a new graphics card for my fujitsu esprimo desktop p5720

unfortunately the psu of my esprimo is only 260 watts and furthermore if i am quite sure only low profile cards can be installed

i do not care if the graphics card i am looking to buy will be new or used, ati radeon or nvidia but i need something on the mid range and low wattage with at least 512 gb of ram

my cpu is an intel e7200 but i am thinking soon to upgrade for an intel core2 quad

i need that graphics card mainly for multimedia, gimp, corel draw, sony vegas and bryce 3d

not to forget to mention that i like to play strategy games

please, let me have your kind advice

What's your budget?
It looks like you will have to get a new psu for any gpu. 260 watts isn't enough for most cards.

hi dear captain_chicken,

yes, i know that my psu is not powerful enough and that's why i have to buy a low wattage and low profile graphics card

unfortunately i haven't found any relevant information on what graphic cards are compatible with my esprimo

as for my budget i could say that an nvidia gtx 275 for euros 49 from amazon would be absolutely perfect but i am afraid to say that i have to buy a new psu something that i don't want

you see my desktop is branded and i prefer to stay within fujitsu recommendions

Most low profile cards require at least 300-350 watts. You might be able to find some older cards that will work, but it would be questionable if you'd find any that would actually give you a performance boost. You maybe better off saving for a newer system or at least a case/PSU combo.
