No Graphics

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I've got a Chaintech 7NLJ6 Socket A Motherboard with AMD XP300+ Socket A CPU.
Video is AGP 4x/8x and I'm using the AGP slot.

Came home the other night and there was nothing on the monitor. The computer seems to be running. Tried rebooting and it does post but nothing shows up on the monitor except some different shades of black. I've reseated every component and had the whole thing apart to no avail. Tried different monitor and different Video card and reseting the bios but nothing seems to work. Like I said the computer seems to start up normally as far as I can tell and posts one time but nothing makes it to the monitor. My next thought is the mother board is toast but I don't have a spare to test the theory and I'm reluctant to buy a new one just to test. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Thanks

Have you tried a PCI video card in case the AGP socket is damaged?
