can i run minecraft?? help!

can my friend run minecraft with me on a lan server,he has a Compaq Presario SR1330NX. he is  running minecraft off a usb 2.0 stick (not on the hdd) (not enough  storage) with optifine installed and a 8x8 texture pack

sorry, its actually not my computer

 

just have him visit the website and see if he can run it it only takes about a minute, itll tell him if he has enough ram, good enough cpu and a good enough gpu
