Dear forum members,

I am very grateful for this forum administration and to the very helpful people here.
I have learnt much here and I have one question about my OS .

Recently I reinstalled Operating system in my computer , I installed XP Pro. sp2, 2002 version.
And the problem which occured is the display of icons and the menu in my OS.

I can't see them clearly , they are somekinda very strange. My browsers and the Word files actually all I see is with some spots or not clear.

I have attached the screenshot of this problems so that you can see by yourselves.

Please give me your wise suggestions to solve this problem. I actualy have no idea why this is occured.
Is smth wrong with my Video Card or anything else?! I think there's no problem with my video card.

Thanks beforehand.

It might be some settings for the monitor. Lets try changing that first:

Download "Clear Type Tuner" from Microsoft Powertoys
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloa...ppowertoys.mspx

It is free.

ClearType Tuner
This PowerToy lets you use ClearType technology (for lcd screens) to make it easier to read text on your screen, and installs in the Control Panel for easy access.

After it is installed turn clear type on.
Next> Click the "Advanced" tab
Choose "Clear Type" in the drop down box.

Dear Enthusiast,

First thanks for your help.
I have done everything as you wrote but the result remains the same. After installing this Clear Type Tuner i could see some changes in fonts but it didn't help me to correct the blurring icons and the menu .

I also tried to change my monitor with the same model LCD and unfortunately no change
Besides I tried to reinstall the driver of the monitor but i didn't see any change.
Do u think it might be because of Video Card or not?

everything is with little blurring in my computer it is not as clear seen as before ...

I appreciate ur advice!

PC: I even reinstalled my OS once more thinking that something was done wrong :flowers:
