ok so im thinking about getting a new hard drive
and i found a good and cheap one on
and im not sure if it will be compatable or not
and im going to upgrade my comp to an XP
and i have the disk and everything for it
can u help me?

Hi breakthishyt1616.
There's no way for us to tell if it's compatable or not until you give us your system info.
That is a SATA drive and I'm "guessing" your machine probably doesn't support it based soley on the OS you currently have installed and the currently installed drive. If I'm incorrect, please say so.
Take a look at the connectors for the difference between SATA only and ATA\IDE here.
This is just for starters. Please post system info. (make,model,etc)
