from the MBAM webpage....   HERE

How do I uninstall Malwarebytes Anti-Malware?

To uninstall Malwarebytes Anti-Malware from your computer, please use our Malwarebytes Clean Uninstall Tool,  mbam-clean.exe. This tool was created to completely remove all traces of the program from your computer.

To use the utility:

  1. Download and run mbam-clean.exe
  2. Restart your computer when prompted.

Note: This tool will completely remove any settings you have configured, your license information, and anything else related to Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. If you need to save any of these, please do not run this tool.

After you have uninstalled Malwarebytes.....I would reinstall it.

Eset and malwarebytes complement each other.....eset is an anti virus and malwarebytes is an anti malware.

Download from here

...I tried to uninstall malwarebytes because i thing i should not be running two similar programs (eset-malwarebytes) at the same time...

Since Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is not an anti-virus program, it should not conflict with ESET...I use both myself without any issues.

The following quote is a statement from the Malwarebytes Team.

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is not meant to be a replacement for antivirus software. Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is a complementary but essential program which detects and removes zero-day malware and "Malware in the Wild". This includes malicious programs and files, such as viruses, worms, trojans, rootkits, dialers, spyware, and rogue applications that many antivirus programs do not detect or cannot fully remove. It is important to note that Malwarebytes Anti-Malware works well and should run alongside antivirus software without conflicts. In some rare instances, exclusions may need to be set for your specific antivirus product to achieve the best possible system performance.

Larry Tate
Product Support

A similar statement is in this Malwarebytes HelpDesk Article: Does Malwarebytes Anti-Malware replace antivirus software?

If you insist on removing Malwarebytes, then you should use mbam-clean.exe as noted above but then you will be removing effective protection intended to supplement your antivirus.

Uninstall it first as per my instructions in post #3

If the uninstaller asks for a reboot...please do so.

Then reinstall it.

The initial problem with youtube etc is not connected

When you're having issues with Malwarebytes, one of the solutions generally suggested by the Help Desk to try first is to uninstall
with mbam-clean.exe, then reinstall.

Ok i uninstall it using  mbam-clean.exe

i restarted the laptop and install it again from link you suggested above .

I hope not to have any problems .If the malwarebytes is not responsible for crashing youtube videos constantly what do you think is the problem ?I use firefox and i have 3 addons installed ,adblock plus , 1click video downloader, youtube high definition .

I would suggest that you disable useless startups, all are really not needed, except your antivirus. When you disable items from startup, a reboot is needed to feel the changes. Whats In Startup.

After the reboot, tell me how things are running.

Then Download Security Check to your desktop, right click it run as administrator. When the program completes, the tool will automatically open a log file, please post that log here in your next post.

Please download MINITOOLBOX and run it.

Checkmark following boxes:

Flush DNS
Reset FF proxy Settings
Reset Ie Proxy Settings
Report IE Proxy Settings
Report FF Proxy Settings
List content of Hosts
List IP configuration
List Winsock Entries
List last 10 Event Viewer log
List Installed Programs
List Users, Partitions and Memory size
List Devices (problems only)

Click Go and post the result.

I suspect that eset firewall may be the issue with youtube, can you disable that and test a youtube video?

Yes, make sure and watch for optional programs with the installers. There is a program called unchecky that helps with that.

As far as Eset, I am not sure how to configure its firewall, but perhaps uninstalling and reinstalling will help, do you have your license information to reinstall it?
