I'm looking for a (SEARCHABLE) solution for keeping notes & reminders on my pc.I keep notes with notepad (Not seachable ?)and I've recently considered using wordpad (I think wordpad is searchable ?).I've also used yahoo mail for notes AND reminders but yahoo reminders is just really tedious. As far as reminders go,I pretty much know that all those "apps"/programs are going to be somewhat tedious. But,at least if I could find something I could down;load onto my pc for reminders,I wouldn't have to wait for Yahoo to load all the time. And,getting reminders with Yahoo seemed to be VERY "hit & miss" the last time I used it (Well, actually, the last time I used it,it was pretty good). But,again,I'd love something I could have directly on my pc.I tend to have A LOT of notes and trying to search through them is a major pain ! If ANYONE has ANY advice,I'd be immensely grateful !!

                                                         Thank you very much,The Fiend.

Try UK's Kalender.  It's a calendar program that lives in the system tray.  I couldn't do without this program when I was on Windows.  I never used the search feature though, so I can't say how good it is.  If you want to try it, there is a portable version which you can unzip anywhere.  If you don't like it, just delete its folder and it's gone.

Notepad is searchable by title with Everything Search Engine.
