After a recent system scan by Norton Security Suite, the Windows Task Manager comes up goofy. When I open Windows Task Manager now, the window is missing part of the information on the exterior of the frame. I no longer have the controls to close (red x button), Minimize or maximize, and at the bottom of the frame it no long shows a running total of CPU useage, etc. Btw, I have to close the task manager now by right clicking or hovering the icon on the dashboard to pull up a red x.

What did I do wrong? Is my computer trying to let me know that I am being too nosey?

Hi,

Try to double click on the Task Manager window and it should go back to normal.

Thankyou, Kitty Response Team, that worked.

And such a simple solution, I feel foolish that I didn't try that first thing. Now, I know.

If that doesn't work, do a System Restore.  Use a restore point dated prior to this problem.
