My phone is Samsung Galaxy s5, Android 5.0. I was thinking about trying to learn how to root it. I know what rooting is, but that is about it. What is the best way to learn how to do it?

If you are a user who knows much about computer, then go to XDA where there are tons of hacks about rooting. If you are just an ordinary user, then you should have a look at iRoot, KingRoot or AnyRooter, which are nice rooting programs for beginners.

P.S. backup your data before rooting, just in case of any damage.

I tried many root programs like iRoot, KingRoot but didn't work! I will try AnyRooter to root my phone, thanks! Hope it works!

iRoot is a good program to root android device under 5.0. I never tried KingRoot before. Please check out this step by step guide: how to root galaxy s5.

P.S. Make sure to unlock the bootloader first.
