I am using MS Vista and Firefox 43. I had been having problems with app hangs and video freezes. A message came on my screen that if my system was slow, I should try refreshing Firefox, which I did. After doing so I happen to have accessed Facebook and most of my pages and friends were missing. I thought it was a Facebook problem. I researched the "refresh" with Mozilla and they suggested putting the old data back, which I did. After I reversed the "refresh" and put the old data back in my system, My Facebook is now working fine, but I have lost all photos from 2016, and 2016 documents from my computer. I can no longer use my Canon 8800F scanner. When I try I get an error message that says "insufficient memory. I've never had an error response like this one before. Usually I try and fix my own computer with Bleeping Computer downloads, but now I can't download anything from your site. The software shows as failed. I think when I did the "refresh" I also got a virus or some other malware. I've run Malware bites and Super spyware and they haven't shown me anything unusual. HELP. Do any of these actions seem familiar and if so, what can I do to get my old computer back. I thought about a system restore, but Mozilla didn't suggest it if data was lost with first refresh. I tried unhiding files in case that was what is going on, but that didn't help. Thanks, Red fireagate
