Not quite sure what happened. Went to My Pictures to get an image and I noticed that ALL my pictures have duplicated. Could some share with me how this would happen and if there is a way to fix the problem? Thank you!

The duplicate pictures, I assume they have slightly different names from the originals. What is the difference, do they by any chance have the word "-Copy" appended to them? If so that suggests you might have tried to clear their metadata and other properties by using the "create copies with all properties and personal information removed" and in the process now have the original and the metadataless copy of every image. Another useful thing would be if you could please report any programs you have installed in the last week or two.
