I have two PC hard wired of a router sitting on adjacent desks.

One PC has no problem accessing the internet via broadband fiber optic line.

The second PC shows than I have connectivity, however every page I access indicates server not found.

I click on my networks I get 100 Mbps connection indicator.

I get the standard windows error page.

Any ideas what is going on ?

Thanks

Tom

Reboot everything on the system from the modem to the router to the two computers.

Shutdown the computers and disconnect the modem and the router for at least one minute.

Thanks I have been doing that and it works.

Seems like I am treating the symptom and not the cause.

Thanks

The problem (it seems) is that the router wasn't given time to initialize before the PC came online. If the device that's furthest "downstream" hasn't fully initialized before the next one starts - you'll get problems.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
