What is your system?  We need to know what hardware and software you're thinking about upgrading.  If you have a laptop, be aware that you need to be SURE your manufacturer provides compatible drivers because laptop parts are proprietary, and the default Windows 10 ones don't work for some people.  Especially vulnerable are touchpads and WiFi adatpers in laptops.

Make regular full system backups or you'll be sorry sooner or later.
