Hello,

I have had some issues with my Dell laptop just lately.  I noticed a C prompt opening on startup, yet i checked the registry HKEY and looked for cmd.exe, neither are in startup.  I also lost my desktop theme one day.  The next day I lost all of my desktop icons.  I did an upgrade to windows 10, which seems to be running fine.  However, my antivirus (trendmicro which is server/network based) is now telling me that my Malwarebytes is malware??  I did a download of runscanner in expert mode -

Your server or your Security Antivirus program.

The file is safe I assure you.

You can use an other computer to Download the file to a CD or Flash driver.

Copy the File to the Desktop of the compromised computer and run it.
Make sure you AV does not quarantine the file.
