Hello :)

I have my laptop plugged into an external monitor. Text and images look blurry around the edges when using this monitor. I know it is not my laptop or cable, as I have tested these away from this monitor.

The monitor's recommended resolution is 1920 x 1080, which I have it set on. Can anyone suggest any other settings that  I could try changing? It is an LG.

Do you mean that the edges of text or images appear blurred or that anything at the edge of the monitor looks blurred ?

If it is blurred around the edge of the monitor I would suspect the monitor settings or even its age. Please supply the make and model, and the age if you know it.
