Had a trojan and several PUPs detected with Malwarebytes. Cleaned them but now am getting the explorer.exe stops responding as well as have Catalyst Control not working although my ATI driver is up to date. The fixes I have looked at talk about doin stuff to registry and I won't go there so am asking for some help.

Hi. . .

Have you had your system looked at by the Security professionals here at Bleeping Computer to ensure that all infections are in fact gone, i.e., that your system is 100% clean?

If not, I suggest that you do so - http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/f/103/am-i-infected-what-do-i-do/

Explorer crashes may be caused by a bad shell.  Use Nirsoft apps to locate and disable 3rd party Explorer shells.

I don't have any experience with ATI Catalyst Control Center (CCC) other than to tell you to update your video drivers. You state that you have already done this, but I suggest that you reinstall fresh video drivers anyway.

Regards. . .
