Hi BC. :)

I am using a Moto G (2013), Android 5.1. I tried to turn off my pin code today in the settings menu but the options were grayed out. After searching online, apparently I need to clear my credential storage so that the option will be enabled.

After doing more reading, I find that one article states to be wary of clearing credentials, as this may affect security over WiFi. I do use public WiFi, for example at university and other places. However, almost all other articles seemed to suggest clearing without any reservations.

Should I or should I not clear my credentials? If not, how else could I enable the option to turn off pin code?

Thank you very much! :)
