Hi,

I know Xplode monitors this forum, so I'd like to post a feature request: That the post-cleaning text box be suppressible. My reason for asking is that I maintain many PCs, and the popup text box has confused users in the past, causing anxiety and phone calls. Because of this, once I run AdwCleaner, I must then re-logon to a just-cleaned PC in order to close that text box so my user doesn't have an anxiety attack. Then I have to restart again. If I could suppress the text box, I could find it to read it if I needed to.

Thanks for a great product and for considering this request.

I also edited the topic title to include Xplode in it.

Having the program name increases visibility which will allow Xplode to know it is about their product.

If staff had not informed Xplode about the topic it could get overlooked by Xplode.

Regards,

Sadly, that txt file is still showing after reboot even with "DoNotShowInformationMessages=1" in settings.ini. Just to be clear, I'm talking about the txt file that shows up after the reboot required after clicking on "Clean."

Oh I thought you were talking about the pop-up that opens after the clean and give information about how the user might have been infected, etc..

If you don't want the logfile to be opened on reboot, simply delete the value "Report" under HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce

I think you can script it, but if you want I can add an option to deactivate this.

Regards.

The option to deactivate it sounds better to me, please, only because different users log on to each machine.

Hi, all!

With all due respect; just an observation, but FWIW the correct syntax should be: "DoNotShowInformationMessage=1", not "DoNotShowInformationMessages=1".

Please verify and/or change!

Hello,

[ADD] - Added option to not show logfile on reboot after the cleaning
	Put "DoNotOpenLogfileOnReboot=1" into settings.ini file

I also changed the previous option to "DoNotShowInformationMessages" instead of "DoNotShowInformationMessage" as mentioned above.

Regards.
