P.S. originally topic posted wrongly in here:

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/607160/running-games-bsods-my-pc/

I always get BSODs when trying to run PC games, my specs:

i5-3450 cpu @ 3.10GHz

Win7 64bit SP1
16GB DDR3 RAM
Gigabyte H77-D3H-MVP motherboard
4072MB R9-280X
Superflower HX600 80plus Gold PSU
2 fans: a Yate Loon, & a Deepcool Gammaxx 300

already tried uninstalling GPU's drivers then reinstalling the latest, no difference...so I am hoping that a BSOD expert can give me any form of guidance

First a bit of discussion....

There's 2 causes of BSOD's - software and hardware.

If you've fixed the software, then all that's left is the hardware.

(BTW - there's other things to do to fix software, but updating the drivers is the most important one).

Although you appear to have a reasonable number of Windows Update hotfixes for this version of your OS, please double check for any new Windows Updates.  It only takes one update to cause a problem, so it's essential that you have all of them.

You have a Realtek RTL8192CU Wireless LAN 802.11n USB 2.0 Network Adapter:

I do not recommend using wireless USB network devices.
These wireless USB devices have many issues with Win7 and later systems - using older drivers with them is almost certain to cause a BSOD.
Should you want to keep using these devices, be sure to have the latest W7/8/8.1/10 drivers - DO NOT use older drivers!!!
An installable wireless PCI/PCIe card that's plugged into your motherboard is much more robust, reliable, and powerful.

The drivers for this device aren't installed.  Please install them (they are available at the HP support website for your model):

Ethernet Controller    PCI\VEN_1969&DEV_1091&SUBSYS_E0001458&REV_10\4&841E55&0&00E6    The drivers for this device are not installed.

Many Live Kernel Events in the WER section of the MSINFO32 report:

Please do the following:
- open Event Viewer (run eventvwr.msc from the "Run" dialog)
- expand the Custom Views category (left click on the > next to the words "Custom Views")
- right click on the "Administrative Events" heading
- select "Save all Events in Custom View as..."
- save the file as Admin.evtx
- zip up the file (right click on it, select "Send to", select "Compressed (zipped) folder")
- upload it with your next post (if it's too big, then upload it to a free file-hosting service and post a link here).

FYI - If we're looking for Event ID 41 errors (unexplained shutdowns), there's more info on that here:  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2028504

While waiting for a reply, please monitor your temps with this free utility:  http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html

And please start on these free hardware diagnostics:  http://www.carrona.org/hwdiag.html

More after the memory dumps finish running........

My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

The memory dumps blame video.  Here's a set of troubleshooting steps to start out with:  http://www.sysnative.com/forums/bsod-kernel-dump-analysis-debugging-information/35-video-tdr-timeout-0x116-0x117.html#post29532
Also, please monitor your temps with this free utility:  http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html

Also, Daemon Tools (and Alcohol % software) are known to cause BSOD's on some Windows systems (mostly due to the sptd.sys driver, although I have seen both dtsoftbus01.sys and dtscsibus.sys blamed on several occasions).

Please un-install the program, then use the following free tool to ensure that the troublesome sptd.sys driver is removed from your system (pick the 32 or 64 bit system depending on your system's configuration):  New link (15 Aug 2012):  http://www.duplexsecure.com/downloads (pick the appropriate version for your system and select "Un-install" when you run it).
Alternate link:  http://www.disc-tools.com/download/sptd
Manual procedure here:  http://daemonpro-help.com/en/problems_and_solutions/registry_and_sptd_problems.html
NOTE:  The uninstaller may not find the SPTD.sys driver.  Don't worry about it, just let us know in your post.

Your XBox controller driver (xusb21.sys)is also known to cause BSOD's on some systems.

Please uninstall it's software and then physically remove the device from your system.

Unfortunately the driver for this device hasn't been updated - so reinstalling it AFTER the BSOD's have stopped will be at your own risk.

If all of this doesn't stop the BSOD's, please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions:  http://www.carrona.org/verifier.html

Apologies for no replying, these days I working the graveyard shift.

I've attached the Admin.evtx while I carry out the other steps.

P.S. Daemon Tools Lite is uninstalled, but is still listed under the Startup tab in msconfig?

We'll wait and see if Daemon Tools appears in any further BSOD's

If it does, then we'll rip it out by the roots (not pretty, but effective! :0)

Several repeating errors in the Admin logfile:

The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) did not load:
nbvnog

No results when searching for this.  This could be a virus, or it could be a remnant left over when a virus was removed.

Have you recently suffered an infection that you removed?

Please:

- download a fresh copy of the latest, W7 compatible audio drivers for your system

- uninstall the current audio drivers from Control Panel...Programs and Features

- install the freshly downloaded drivers

- monitor for further problems

And this NTFS related error (the file system on your hard drive):

The default transaction resource manager on volume ComodoEvdd encountered a non-retryable error and could not start.  The data contains the error code.

Please uninstall the Comodo software and ensure that the Windows firewall is turned on.

I presume that you only have the Comodo firewall installed.
