I have a question? I did not know where I would go to have it answered. I have a Dell XPS 2012 desktop computer, OS windows 7, 64 bits (haven't upgraded yet). This computer can run on either LAN or wireless. I prefer to run it on LAN. When I turned on my computer the end of February it would not connection to the internet using LAN. I had to go wireless. When I viewed Network connection details It said Lease Obtained Saturday, March 5, 2016 12:14:PM. Lease Expires Sunday, March 06, 2016 12:14:29PM? Just want to know How I can change this so I can go back to my LAN connection?

That has nothing to do with your lan connection.  That is just saying your router is giving out 24hr leases which is just fine.

The big question is what is wrong with your lan card.

Use a different cable

Use a different port in the router

Post the results of a ipconfig /all when connected via lan for review
