recently my iPhone 5s has not been able to locate any Wi-Fi networks at all, im pretty sure it has to do with Wi-Fi chip. I have updated and restored the phone, and tried every thing online and I am asking if  any one else has the problem, and im going to an apple store to get the chip examined.

Edit: Moved topic from Mac OS to the more appropriate forum. ~ Animal

I would say going to an Apple Store is likely your best option since you have updated/restored the phone.

Go to settings > general > reset > reset networking settings. Let the phone reboot and then try to find your wifi.
If this doesn't work, try to manually input the wifi ssid and password.

Another suggestion is to make sure your wifi 2.4ghz band is operating between channels 1- 11, channels 12 & 13 may not show up on iOS devices.
