I thought we could work together to create a list of safe file hosts which don't require registration. This thread has some rules to avoid choas.

Rules/Formatting:

When adding to the list please copy/paste the previous version of the list so that people can just scroll to the newest post to see the full list. You can use [ ] to include comments about the host. Do not delete existing comments, but feel free to add more of your own to them. If you disagree with a site that has been whitelisted or blacklisted, move it it to the "Under Debate" category, and cast a vote to reflect whether you think it should be on the blacklist or whitelist. Once on the Under Debate list, a site remains there.

The rules and formatting may change over time if the need arises, so please re-read them before posting.

Whitelist (Safe to use):

1. http://expirebox.com/ [Shows Ads. Deletes files after 48 hours.]

2.

Under Debate:

1. http://example [This is not a real website. It is here to demonstrate how this section works. Please leave it at the top of the list!] Votes: Blacklist ( 3 ) Whitelist ( 1 )

2.

Blacklist (Do not use):

1. Openload.co [Popups during download, and sometimes popups have prompts to prevent closure.]

2. Fast-files.com [Popups during download. Redirects user through Ad.fy during download.]

3. TinyUpload.com [Popups during download, and sometimes popups have prompts to prevent closure.]

This thread is a collaboratively created list of safe file hosts, which don't require registration. To avoid chaos, there are some rules, please read them before contributing.

Rules:

When adding to the list, please copy/paste the entire previous post (the list, this rules section, all of it), so that people can simply go to the newest post to see everything. If you have any comments about a site, wrap them in [ ], and place them on a new line, below the url line and below any existing comment lines for that site. Avoid full sentences in comments; keep them short likes notes. Do NOT delete existing comments; if they are not accurate, add a newer contradicting comment line to reflect the current status of the site. If you disagree with a site that has been whitelisted or blacklisted, move it it to the "Under Debate" category, and cast a vote to reflect whether you think it should be on the blacklist or whitelist. When adding sites to the blacklist, type only the domain name. This way it's not a clickable hyperlink. Once a site is on the Under Debate list, it remains there, forever. The rules may change over time, so please re-read them before posting.

Please Help:

- Add sites to the list.

- Add comments about sites already on the list.

- Cast votes, on sites under debate.

- Review sites on the list, especially those on the whitelist. THEIR STATUS MAY HAVE CHANGED.

- Move sites, that need be, to the under debate section.
