I have a iPod 4g classic and I can't get my laptop to recognize it in my computer or my iTunes? I have reset the iPod but still doesn't see it? How can I resolve this? Thank you.

I have also uninstalled iTunes and re-installed it with no luck detecting my iPod. My USB port is good because it shows it's charging when I plug it in.

This is the laptop that I used when I originally loaded my Ipod so I know it's recognized it before??

Which laptop is it? Are you plugging it into a USB 2.0 or a USB 3.0 port?

Checked the specs of your laptop, they are all USB 2.0. Sometimes there are issues with USB 2 devices plugged into USB 3 ports.
