Hi all, I'm new here so I hope I'm posting this in the correct place.

I recently switched my ISP and now my internet speed seams very slow around peak traffic times. I was also getting a lot of DNS errors but changing to google public DNS seams to have resolved that. Whenever my browsing seams sluggish I do a speed test which returns respectable figures for my location. So why would my browsing be sluggish and yet a speed test seams good? Is there anything short of switching ISP again (I'm locked into a 24month contract) that can speed my connection?

Also I have already checked for other devices hogging bandwidth on my network.

I don't know what your issue is.

I would try installing a new browser, and use that one for a bit. If the new browser works significantly better than the one you are currently using, than un-installing and re-installing your old browser will probably fix your issue.

I have tried different browsers already, all had the same issues. Any other suggestions?
