Am getting "the signature is corrupt" message when downloading some programs, went into advanced internet explorer, clicked to allow signatures, rebooted, Win. 8.1, still getting the message? Any help appreciated

Can quite often just mean (out of inspection date), what is the result if you "Disable" your Antivirus ..
