In the BC Spywarequake removal instructions, RogueScanFix and SmitRem are the only tools used; however, could I follow up with SmitFraudFix just incase the infection still remains; or, does this jeopardize my computer and is it advised not to use SmitFraudFix for Spywarequake removal?

The BC Spywarequake removal instructions should be sufficient in most cases. SmitfraudFix by S!Ri is an alternate fix option to using SmitRem for smitfraud infections to include SpywareQuake.

I would not recommend using specialized fix tools for "just in case" scenarios. For instance, running SmitfraudFix option #2 on a non infected computer can remove your Desktop background.

Honestly, these instuctions are overkill. All i did to remove spywarequake was download Prevx. It will find the processes, stop them, jail then (freeze) then delete from your PC. They have a full access 30 day trial (No restrictions) and from how quickly it removed spyware quake, I have already bought it before my trial was over.
It works for ALOT of spyare malware and virus's, and it worked alot quicker then all these programs you need to download.
